It’s ok, it suits the mood of the flash it’s used in, etc. You know, ‘Sburban Jungle’ on it’s own isn’t that noteworthy of a track. I also like how this version brings in ‘Sburban Jungle’. Gosh I love Terezi’s ornamental little leitmotif. Only, now I get to hear it without all the glitching that was happening in Flip! The beginning with the piano reminds me a bit of ‘The Thirteenth Hour’ or ‘Skaian Summoning’ from Alternia. BL1ND JUST1C3: 1NV3ST1G4T1ON!!: Ah yes, this is familiar.I think I’ve heard this before somehow? Anyway, it’s hilarious. I can picture a 40′s Dad-type sitting in his chair with his pipe and tuning in on his giant cabinet radio to listen to this. Trollcops: Ahahahahahahahaha, I love it.Regardless, it’s a nice little chiptune that isn’t out of place where it appears in the walkaround games. I still think it sounds oddly ‘circus-y’ and not very well-matched to Karkat’s personality, but then again, this tune was composed before we really knew much about Karkat. Karkat’s Theme: Well this is familiar.Wow, rereading this review makes me realize it’s practically incoherent. The best part is that this is by the same guy who did ‘Knife’s Edge’-like, what the fuck? Gonna listen to this a million times when I inevitably buy this album. Arisen Anew: HOLY SHIT, the song only just started and I already know it’s my jam!!! It sounds like Phoenix and Daft Punk had a baby, and that baby was a Vocaloid.In addition, the theme is broad enough to allow for plenty of creativity, and so I’m excited to hear the other non-Toby artists’ take! Another Alternia/troll-themed album? Well, ok! This one, unlike Alternia, isn’t a solo album, so I can probably expect a wide range of artists to be represented.
